What's new at Omega?

Much has happened at Omega during September. To begin with the good news.. the Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra welcomed it's 10,000th visitor! For an insight on how this Tribute came to be, read interview with the authors.

New format of newsletters. Beginning with this issue, I will use the background you are now looking at.... The idea of the newsletter is to convey as much information in as pleasant a format as possible and not to fill the page with stunning graphics and other such paraphanalia. I hope you like the 'new, improved' format. I use several types of 'border' background graphics on my site and some of them do not translate so well on browsers running at a 1024 X 768 resolution mode (double exposure etc).

Omega now has a Chat Room!!! One of this issue's main topics deals with 'chat rooms' and 'chat applications' and what better way to discuss the subject than actually trying one out for size? So, I have set one up, appropriately called Omega's Chat Room . Go ahead and give it a try.... I might even be 'online' and it would be nice to chat with you for a while. Or then again, another Omega visitor just might be waiting to chat with you. Let me know what you think of this new feature.
